In the Book of Mormon we read about how all night long it was noised abroad that Jesus would be coming again the next day so a great multitude gathered together to see Him. 3 Nephi 19:1-3 "And now it came to pass that when Jesus had ascended into heaven, the multitude did disperse, and every man did take his wife and his children and did return to his own home. And it was noised abroad among the people immediately, before it was yet dark, that the multitude had seen Jesus, and that he had ministered unto them, and that he would also show himself on the morrow unto the multitude. Yea, and even all the night it was noised abroad concerning Jesus; and insomuch did they send forth unto the people that there were many, yea, an exceedingly great number, did labor exceedingly all that night, that they might be on the morrow in the place where Jesus should show himself unto the multitude."
In the Old Testament we read that Jehoash reigned in righteousness, however he still didn't take down the high places where the people sacrificed and burnt incense. 2 Kings 12:1-3 "In the seventh year of Jehu Jehoash began to reign; and forty years reigned he in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Zibiah of Beer-sheba. And Jehoash did that which was right in the sight of the Lord all his days wherein Jehoiada the priest instructed him. But the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places."
A verse with a thought booklet tells us that when our eyes are consumed with grief and we're in our time of trouble, the Lord will have mercy on us. We can turn to the Lord during our darkest hours. Psalms 31:9 "Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly."
