Daily Thoughts

In the Book of Mormon we read that if we have faith in Christ, we'll be given the power to do anything that is expedient for us to do.  Moroni 7:33 "And Christ hath said: If ye will have faith in me ye shall have power to do whatsoever thing is expedient in me."

In the Old Testament we read that the wicked Haman who had devised against the Jews to destroy them had the evil he'd planned for them return to his own head, and he and his sons were hanged on the gallows, thanks to Esther who had the courage to come before the king at the peril of her own life.  Esther 9:24-25 "Because Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, had devised against the Jews to destroy them, and had cast Pur, that is, the lot, to consume them, and to destroy them; But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows."

A verse with a thought booklet is a prayer to let our words and thoughts of our hearts acceptable in the sight of God, who is our strength and our redeemer.  If we want to be right with God, we need to pray for His help to do so.  Psalms 19:14 " Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer."
