In the D&C we read about how John the Baptist conferred the Aaronic Priesthood upon Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery, which priesthood holds the keys of the ministering of angels and the gospel of repentance and baptism. D&C 13: 1 "Upon you my fellow servants, in the name of Messiah I confer the Priesthood of Aaron, which holds the keys of the ministering of angels, and of the gospel of repentance, and of baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; and this shall never be taken again from the earth, until the sons of Levi do offer again an offering unto the Lord in righteousness."
A verse from the Old Testament tells us to cast our burdens upon the Lord for He will sustain us and He will not allow the righteous to be moved. When we have problems or are weighed down with tribulations, we can turn to the Lord for help and comfort. Psalms 55:22 "Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."
Some scriptures with a thought booklet remind us that nothing can separate us from the love of God. No matter what we've done or how unworthy we may feel, we can know assuredly, that God still loves us, just as we still love our children even when they misbehave. Romans 8:38-39 "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
