In the D&C we read that Jesus Christ has atoned for our sins and will gather His people if they hearken to His voice and humble themselves before Him, praying mightily. D&C 29:1-2 "Listen to the voice of Jesus Christ, your Redeemer, the Great I Am, whose arm of mercy hath atoned for your sins; Who will gather his people even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, even as many as will hearken to my voice and humble themselves before me, and call upon me in mighty prayer."
In the Old Testament we read that if the Lord counted all our iniquities, none of us could stand. We all sin. But through the Lord, we can find forgiveness. Psalms 130:3-4 "If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared."
A verse with a thought booklet tells us that Christ is our peace and can make us one with each other, having broken down dividing walls of hostility between us. If we're having a problem with another person, we can turn to the Lord for help. He can help us find peace with them. Ephesians 2:14 "For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;"
