In the D&C we read that the gospel needs to be preached to those who sit in darkness. D&C 57:10 "And thus provide for my saints, that my gospel may be preached unto those who sit in darkness and in the region and shadow of death."
In the Old Testament we're again told that there is no peace unto the wicked. But the wicked are like a troubled sea that cannot rest and whose waters cast up mire and dirt. That sounds like a pretty unsettled existence. If we want peace in our lives, we need to keep the commandments. Isaiah 57:20-21 "But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked."
A verse with a thought booklet tells us that it is good and pleasant for us to dwell together with our brethren in unity. Psalms 133:1 "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"
