In the P of GP we read that the Lord talked to Abraham face to face and showed him the works which His hands had made. They were so many that Abraham could not see the end thereof. Abraham 3:11-12 "Thus I, Abraham, talked with the Lord, face to face, as one man talketh with another; and he told me of the works which his hands had made; And he said unto me: My son, my son (and his hand was stretched out), behold I will show you all these. And he put his hand upon mine eyes, and I saw those things which his hands had made, which were many; and they multiplied before mine eyes, and I could not see the end thereof."
In the New Testament we're told to all speak the same thing and to have no divisions among us--being unified and perfectly joined together, having the same mind and same judgment. 1 Corinthians 1:10 "Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment."
Some verses with a thought booklet tell us that the Lord hears our prayers and supplications and inclines His ears toward us. So we should love the Lord and continue calling upon Him as long as we live. No matter what pains or sorrows surround us, we can beseech Him and He will deliver our souls. He is merciful and deals bountifully with us. There is no way we can possibly repay the Lord for all His benefits toward us. We need to make sure we take some time today and every day to call upon God and give Him thanks for all He does for us. Psalms 116:1-8, 12 "I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me. Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee. For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?"
