Daily Thoughts

In the Book of Mormon we read that Alma began to preach to the people of Melek, baptizing many.  He then went to the land of Ammonihah.  Alma 8:4-6 "And he began to teach the people in the land of Melek according to the holy order of God, by which he had been called; and he began to teach the people throughout all the land of Melek.  And it came to pass that the people came to him throughout all the borders of the land which was by the wilderness side. And they were baptized throughout all the land; So that when he had finished his work at Melek he departed thence, and traveled three days' journey on the north of the land of Melek; and he came to a city which was called Ammonihah."

In the Old Testament we read that the Lord loves us with an everlasting love and draws us to Him with loving kindness.  Jeremiah 31:3 "The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."

A verse with a thought booklet asks the question:  If God is for us, who can be against us?  Indeed, if we're on God's side, it doesn't really matter who is on the other side. The Lord will prevail.  Romans 8:31 "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?"
