In the Book of Mormon we read that Jesus finally told the people to cease praying, but never stop praying in their hearts. He then administered the sacrament to them, after producing bread and wine miraculously. The people gave glory to Jesus and were filled with the Spirit. 3 Nephi 20:1-10 "And it came to pass that he commanded the multitude that they should cease to pray, and also his disciples. And he commanded them that they should not cease to pray in their hearts. And he commanded them that they should arise and stand up upon their feet. And they arose up and stood upon their feet. And it came to pass that he brake bread again and blessed it, and gave to the disciples to eat. And when they had eaten he commanded them that they should break bread, and give unto the multitude. And when they had given unto the multitude he also gave them wine to drink, and commanded them that they should give unto the multitude. Now, there had been no bread, neither wine, brought by the disciples, neither by the multitude; But he truly gave unto them bread to eat, and also wine to drink. And he said unto them: He that eateth this bread eateth of my body to his soul; and he that drinketh of this wine drinketh of my blood to his soul; and his soul shall never hunger nor thirst, but shall be filled. Now, when the multitude had all eaten and drunk, behold, they were filled with the Spirit; and they did cry out with one voice, and gave glory to Jesus, whom they both saw and heard. And it came to pass that when they had all given glory unto Jesus, he said unto them: Behold now I finish the commandment which the Father hath commanded me concerning this people, who are a remnant of the house of Israel."
In the Old Testament we're admonished once again to obey the Lord's voice, keep all His commandments, and do what is right in His eyes. Deuteronomy 13 :18 "When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the Lord thy God."
Some verses with a thought booklet tell us that the heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display His craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make Him known. They speak without a sound or word, yet their message goes throughout the earth to all the world. All you have to do is look at the beautiful world the Lord has created to know that He exists. The sky might be huge, but how much greater is the One who formed it? During times of stress and problems, we can bask in the Lord's glory which is all around us on this beautiful earth that He created for us to live on. Psalms 19:1-4 "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,"
