Some verses in the Old Testament talk about loving the commandments, meditating upon them, and delighting in them. Is this how we feel about the commandments? Ps. 119: 47-48 "And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved. My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes."
In the Book of Mormon I read that the righteous and the wicked will both reap the rewards or punishments they deserve. 2 Ne. 13: 10-11 "Say unto the righteous that it is well with them; for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Wo unto the wicked, for they shall perish; for the reward of their hands shall be upon them!"
Some verses with a thought booklet tell us to treasure the Word of God in our hearts and delight in His statures so that we won't sin against the Lord nor forget His word. Ps. 119: 11, 16 "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word."
