Daily Thoughts

A verse in the Old Testament tells us that he whose hope is in the Lord will be happy. Ps. 146: 5 "Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:"

In the Book of Mormon I read some verses that talk about the day when animals will be at peach with each other and none will hurt or destroy. And the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord. What a great day that will be. 2 Ne. 30: 12-15 "And then shall the wolf dwell with the lamb; and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf, and the young lion, and the fatling, together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice's den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea."

A verse with a thought booklet tells us that the heavens declare the glories of God and the firmament shows His handywork. When we look at the wonders of creation all around us, how can we doubt that there is a God? Everything He has created testifies of Him. Ps. 19: 1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork."
