In the Book of Mormon I read a prophecy that a virgin would bear a son and He would be called Immanuel. 2 Ne. 17: 14 "Therefore, the Lord himself shall give you a sign—Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and shall bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel."
In the New Testament we read that God is not the author of confusion, but of peace. 1 Corinthians 14:33 "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints."
Some verses with a thought booklet go right along with this, saying true wisdom that comes from God edifies and brings forth fruits of peace and righteousness. Bitter envying, strife, and confusion come from a source other than God. James 3:13-18 "Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace."
