In the Book of Mormon we're reminded that miracles only come after our faith. We first must believe in the Son of God. Ether 12:18 "And neither at any time hath any wrought miracles until after their faith; wherefore they first believed in the Son of God."
In the Old Testament we read that genealogy records were kept among the people. In fact, most of the chapter deals with giving names of people. These genealogy records must have been considered important, and likewise it's important for us today to deep genealogy records. Nehemiah 7:5 "And my God put into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein,"
In a verse with a thought booklet we're told that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and there is no way to get back to our Heavenly Father except through Him. John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
And it shall come to pass in the last days,when the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains....The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
