In the P of GP we read that the Lord showed Abraham the intellegences that existed before the world was created. There were many noble and great ones and among them there were some that the Lord foreordained to be His rulers, including Abraham. He was chosen before he was born. Abraham 3:22-23 "Now the Lord had shown unto me, Abraham, the intelligences that were organized before the world was; and among all these there were many of the noble and great ones; And God saw these souls that they were good, and he stood in the midst of them, and he said: These I will make my rulers; for he stood among those that were spirits, and he saw that they were good; and he said unto me: Abraham, thou art one of them; thou wast chosen before thou wast born."
In the New Testament we read that we are the temples of God. We need to treat our body like a temple and which is not to be defiled. We need to take good care of our bodies, which house our spirits. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are."
Some verses with a thought booklet tell us that it is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord. Every morning we can thank Him for His kindness and every evening we can rejoice in all His faithfulness. Day and night we can pray to the Lord with gratitude in our hearts. Psalms 92:1-2 "It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,"
