In the P of GP we read that this earth is a probationary time for us in which we can prove ourselves to see if we're willing to do all things that the Lord has commanded us. Those who kept their first estate (in the spirit world before we were born) were added upon and allowed to come to this earth. And those who keep their second estate (here on this earth) will have glory added upon their heads forever and ever. Abraham 3:25-26 "And we will prove them herewith, to see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them; And they who keep their first estate shall be added upon; and they who keep not their first estate shall not have glory in the same kingdom with those who keep their first estate; and they who keep their second estate shall have glory added upon their heads for ever and ever."
In the New Testament we read that the unrighteous will not be saved. But if those who commit sin repent, they are washed clean and justified through Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God."
Some verses with a thought booklet remind us of the great value we have with the Lord. Even a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without the Father knowing it. We are of much more worth than many sparrows. Even the very hairs of our head of numbered to Him. Matthew 10:29-31 "Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows."
