In Articles of Faith 3 we read that because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can all be saved, but we need to receive the necessary ordinances, such as baptism, and we need to keep the commandments. It is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do.  Articles of Faith 3 "We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel."

In the New Testament we read that we are to love one another, as God loves us.  God is love and those who love are born of God and know Him.  But those who do not manifest love for others, do not know God. It's all about love!  1 John 4:7-8, 11 "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another."

A verse with a thought booklet tells us that God gives us peace.   We don't need to be troubled or afraid.  This is not the kind of peace that the world gives, this is true inner peace that we can only have when we are living the way we know God wants us to live.  John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
