In the Book of Mormon we're told that whatever we ask for in the name of Jesus will be given to us. If we ask, we'll receive and if we knock it will be opened unto us. 3 Nephi 27:28-29 "And now I go unto the Father. And verily I say unto you, whatsoever things ye shall ask the Father in my name shall be given unto you. Therefore, ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for he that asketh, receiveth; and unto him that knocketh, it shall be opened."
In the Old Testament we read that when Ephraim mourned, his brethren came to comfort him. This is what we all should do when someone we know is mourning. We need to go to them and try to comfort them. 1 Chronicles 7:22 "And Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him."
Some verses with a thought booklet remind us that God is love and if we truly know God we will love one another. It's all about love! 1 John 4:7-8 "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."
