In the D&C we read that the day will come when every person will hear the gospel preached in his own tongue by those who are ordained of God. Everyone will have the opportunity to be taught the gospel. D&C 90:11 "For it shall come to pass in that day, that every man shall hear the fulness of the gospel in his own tongue, and in his own language, through those who are ordained unto this power, by the administration of the Comforter, shed forth upon them for the revelation of Jesus Christ."
In the Old Testament we read about sacrifices that were to be made--a lamb without blemish. This was in similitude of the sacrifice that Jesus Christ would make when He atoned for the world. He was without blemish. Ezekiel 46: 13 "Thou shalt daily prepare a burnt offering unto the Lord of a lamb of the first year without blemish: thou shalt prepare it every morning."
In some scriptures with a thought booklet we read that whoever hears what te Lord says and obeys it is like a wise man who builds his house on a firm foundation. When the storms come, he is not moved. However, the man who hears the Word of the Lord and does not obey is like the foolish man who builds on a sandy foundation, and when the rains come his house is washed away. I can't help but hear the little primary song in my head when I read these verses, "The wise man built his house upon the rock and the rains came tumbling down. The rain came down and the floods came up, but the house on the rock stood still. The foolish man build his house upon the sand. The rains came down and the floods came up, and the house on the sand washed away. Luke 6:46-49 "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great."
